MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Payroll processing :

Prepare and process weekly payroll
Prepare reports and remittances (government, pension plan, group insurance, CSST, record of employment, etc.).
Follow-up with employees and administer benefits data (group insurance, pension plan, leave banks)

Accounting:

Perform bank reconciliations and accounting entries
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
Support the Director in internal control, the budget process, the month-end and year-end process and the preparation of various reports.
Produce monthly GST/QST reports
Receives and files all documents (electronically).

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Hold a DEP, DEC or AEC in accounting
Knowledge of Acomba accounting system (asset)
Knowledge of Office suite (Excel Word and PowerPoint)
Spoken and written languages: French (essential) / English (an asset)
