MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

As an industrial mechanic, you’ll play a key role in creating the structure of our fast-growing company. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Quickly solve technical, mechanical and electrical problems arising during production
  • Collaborate with external resources on major problems
  • Participate in performance improvement, optimization and reliability projects
  • Communicate knowledge and best practices to these teammates
  • Identify maintenance problems and request corrective work orders from supervisors
  • Inspect machines and equipment regularly for signs of wear and tear.
  • Plan and execute preventive maintenance operations to minimize production downtime
  • Diagnose machine faults and malfunctions
  • Responsible for applying and respecting good health and safety practices
  • Participate in the installation of new equipment as well as the improvement and refurbishment of equipment.
  • Participate in the development of mechanical processes and procedures

  • Perform any other tasks assigned by management

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma in industrial mechanics, electromechanics or other relevant training
  • 5 years of experience
  • Having a good knowledge of a production environment is an asset
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical problem solving and controls
  • Initiative and analytical mind
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and information
  • Experience with PLC is an asset
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A desire to contribute to the development of a fast-growing company
